Teaching Philosophy

My philosophy of teaching focuses on creating a safe and stimulating learning environment. I believe in promoting positive mental, emotional, and physical health as well as preparing for academic success. A teacher’s role is to provide an inclusive and engaging curriculum to ensure each student reaches his or her maximum potential. Every child should be given an equal opportunity when entering the classroom, whether in person or remote.

I will incorporate every culture and language to ensure inclusivity and a sense of self identity. I encourage consistent family engagement to uphold reliable expectations for each student and our community. Students can depend on applicable classroom management and organization. It is guaranteed that every lesson will have an assessable objective while remaining captivating to all personalities and interests.

I believe that my job as a teacher is to instill a motivated and capable mentality for every child. To attain this, I intend to create a student-centered atmosphere that meets the needs of the entirety of the class. This involves offering support and guidance, while in return, anticipating the highest of standards.

There should be no fear of failing or stepping outside of one’s comfort zone. Contrasting ideas are accepted and embraced. All skill sets of learners are acknowledged and accommodated. I hold myself accountable for the sake of myself, my future colleagues, parents, and schools. Most importantly as a teacher, I have an ethical responsibility to every child and their future.
